LINE
SET-UP
The line layout must be adapted to suit your boat. Normally both
lines go to one side but this is a matter of choice.
For tiller steering the lines must come in at a convenient place
from Port and Starboard of cockpit and attach to the tiller.

The lines run from the NORVANE to the wheel or tiller
and should be as direct as possible with minimum slack or friction
and should be easily accessible for quick release when required.

A drum is recommended for vessels with wheel steering.
The two sheave blocks, which are supplied with the unit, should
be attached to the bent tube by means of the eyelets and positioned
to suit your vessel
There are no concealed lines as they run above deck and are therefore
easy to replace when necessary.
For best performance and minimum friction a good, non-stretch line
should be used.
